today, the randomest thing happened! My crush from years actually said hi to me, and she's usually shy, but today she confidentally said ';hi, how you doing?'; in her language. She knows i'm from the same background, and for some random reason she said hi, for the first time in monthes in her language, but this time with confidence and smiling. I didn't understand what she said-which was embarassing. Also, i would like to know some good conversation starters when you begin talking to your crush, what can i begin with? I want something random, like how she did. Any ideas?Was she trying to flirt with me?

well I mean hi isn't really flirting but maybe she just wants to get to know you better or she feels more comfortable talking to you now.


Conversation starters aren't really something you plan it just goes. You can talk about something that happened at school, or give her a compliment or something, idk anything! The starter really doesn't matter, it's weather or not you can hold onto the conversation and make it flow.
just be yourself, sometimes that can be random enough


or maybe she just had something inspirational happen to her.


just start talking to her like she's one of your best friends


then when you both become comfortable with each other (which might take a couple of hours online, or days-months in person) you can then ask her what happened, and she'll probably tell you


she's either starting to be more comfortable with you or her or both

For starters just casually ask her how is her day going or bring up something that has been making the headlines because then both of you can comment on the latest happenings.....When you see that she is comfortable having a casual conversation with you, simply end it and say that you hope to see her again soon....THEN...When you run into her a second time, just ask her would she like to catch a movie with you sometime.....I see something good is about to happen with this new friendship......Good luck.:)
well first of all, meaning u still hvae feelings for her, saying hi is not exactly a big flirting ';hint hint'; but uh it depnds on what u sed back. just go up to her and if she plays any sport or if anythings up with her at home or any type of event/drama/tradgedy just ask hows that going. and just have a conversation with her.joke around and make her laugh. walk her to class or at gym. sumthin like that. itll probably give her a clue that ur into her and shell give a hint back if she likes u or not.
I gather you don't speak ';her language';. There's nothing wrong with just a ';hi, how you doing';. If you get too random it might seem...weird. Go with what conversation comes naturally. If she's feeling more confident she'll probably elaborate.
she was probably bored and wanted to talk to someone. Dont' read in to too much when a girl approaches you like that. Most of the time they just looking for someone to talk to. If she makes other moves maybe. But just saying hi to you after years is nothing. Sorry man
Comment her overall appearance, or use a catch phrase like.. ';Hey beautiful.'; Or could be something simple like- Heya there, hows it going, with a different tone. Don't over complicate it but don't simplify it. Don't be scared to say what you want to say.
Tell her her shirt brings up her eyes, or things like, that.. stay away from comments like your hot/sexy!
just be yourself.


i would ask her what classes she's taking.


and stuff like that.


just treat her as a friend, and then you can work from there.

Say hi back and then ask her how her day is going. If she is shy then you need to be tha one to start conversation. Learn her language if you like her
